We kicked off our Easter weekend with our annual neighborhood egg hunt! Its amazing to see how much this place has grown in the 4 years we have been doing it. I think the first year we had maybe 7 kids participate and this year definitely showed the growth we've had!
Maddox making sure I saw that his basket was empty before the hunt started.
He caught on pretty quick but with all the kids I was definitely forced to keep him on task so all the eggs wouldn't disappear before he got to them.
Taylor finishing up finding her allotted number of eggs. I had a picture of Boston in passing but he was pretty focused on finding his eggs and then helping all of his friends do the same.
Saturday morning I took the kids to the park while Curtis went for a run. He met us at the park after and then we all walked/rode bikes home together. The kids got a kick out of having their dad ride their bikes and getting to sit on the handlebars! Curtis' legs were pretty sore the next day:)
We managed to squeeze in some egg dyeing and got to do some extra ones for Curtis to take to the hotel for the guests to enjoy at breakfast.
The traditional before church Easter shot! I usually go and buy the kids new church outfits but we had recently got Taylor a couple new dresses and the boys didn't need much so we made do with what we had--I think they are pretty cute myself!
I love Easter and the opportunity it brings to reflect on the Savior's love and sacrifice. I'm truly blessed to know and have a testimony of the atonement and the power it brings into my life.
