When Curtis and I were first married and living in Cedar, Diamond Rio came to St. George and did a concert at the college. Tickets were fairly cheap, we were poor married students, and I grew up listening to this band and knew most of their songs, so of course we went. It was probably one of the funnest concerts I've been too and so when I saw they were coming to Tuacahn recently, I knew we had to go. Lucky for us, Curtis scored free tickets through work and managed to get 6. We got them last minute and didn't really have a babysitter. It had been a long day and I wasn't too keen on taking all the kids with us so Curtis said we could just drive up and give our tickets to people waiting. But the minute we got there, I had to stay and the kids were so excited! The first song they sang, One more day, was playing as we walked to our seats, and I was so overcome with emotion I started crying! Gotta love pregnancy hormones along with great music:)
These two had no idea who Diamond Rio even was but had a blast clapping and cheering and watching all the crazy lights.
These guys are old pros and sure know how to put on a good show!
Maddox was pretty focused on all the lighting and loud music going on around him, but he was so good and sat with Curtis almost the entire show.
Crappy IPhone Picture attempt.
I had Taylor take a picture of Curtis and I by their sign on the way out and had to chuckle when I looked at the pic and realized Maddox managed to sneak his way in and smile big for the camera!
Another fun and memorable night that I am so glad we were able to enjoy with the entire family!
