The weekend after the half marathon, Curtis and I were both signed up to run the Color Me Rad 5k. We ended up not having anyone to watch our kids, so Curtis graciously bowed out and let me do it. I was lucky enough to have so girls in the ward let me join them and it was fun! I would have loved to have Curtis with me and even the kids could have joined it, but it was so cold that day! They just came for support at the end.
Taylor started taking dance this year and was able to perform at the Jubilee of Trees as well as the Dicken's Festival. She loved every minute and has really blossomed and found a new hobby she truly enjoys.
Boston performed a couple songs at school for the parents and is loving school. He has some good friends in his class and has really become a social bug this year, always wanting to be on the go playing with his friends. He also started gymnastics this year with a lady that has a gym in her basement. It's been great for him to have his own thing and another thing to keep him busy during the week.
Maddox is loving life these days and acts like he is one of the big kids, always trying to follow them around and feel included. He is doing speech only thru early intervention now and is making small steps. Its been a frustrating process for me as his mom, but I'm learning to have patience in the process and enjoy his personality and sweet smile:)
For Thanksgiving, we were able to spend time with both sides of the family! Most of my family was in Salt Lake at my brother's house and we were only missing my sister and her family! It felt awesome to be all together and my kids love any chance they have to spend time with their cousins.
We had a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing them all again as soon as possible.
