Today was Boston's first day of his last year of preschool! I can hardly believe in just a few weeks he is going to be 5 years old! Time seems to be flying by faster than I have a chance to really enjoy these moments. He's going back to Lil Dude Ranch Preschool which is literally a hop skip and a jump from our house and his teacher is the Primary President in our ward. He's so excited to be in his new friend, Andrew's, class and he is also in class with another little boy from primary as well!
He was so excited to get his clothes all ready and wear his new shoes...only, his shoes are slightly big and kept slipping which drove him crazy, so we had a last minute shoe change before his ride showed up. He was pretty annoyed at this point that I kept wanting to take pictures of him!
Maddox sure missed his big brother while he was gone! When he saw Boston getting dressed he ran to his room to grab his clothes thinking he could go too! Sadly, he had to go running with mom, but the minute Boston's ride showed up after school Maddox was right there staring out the window! He even climbed up on the couch and sat right next to Boston on the couch while he was watching TV. Love these two boys and the relationship they are building! Boston can get Maddox to laugh deliriously and no one else can.
Maddox also loves when Taylor comes home from school. These two pushed each other around in this suitcase and Maddox was surprisingly doing most of the pushing with Taylor in it! He's quite the strong one. When I asked Taylor to sit by him for a picture, Maddox immediately looked to see how she was sitting and made sure to copy! So cute...and you can definitely tell these two are siblings much easier than the boys together!
We are in a full routine now and I have to say I love it! Taylor is taking a dance and tumbling class and Boston is deciding whether or not Karate is for him! Maddox has a music class once a week on top of weekly speech therapy which makes me far busier than I have ever been! It seems crazy to me to have kids old enough to be involved in so many things, but I'm really loving watching them each grow up and become their own individuals!
