A couple weeks ago, we had a barbecue with the girls I am in primary with at the President's house. My kids we ecstatic to be going to the Larson's house, because their backyard could entertain for hours! We roasted hot dogs, and marshmallows, played a few intense games of tether ball, talked, ate and the kids favorite part: horseback rides.
Maddox was in love with all the fun ride-on toys they had...lets face it, he was in heaven just being outside for hours free to roam.
The green machine...pretty much the coolest bike I have ever seen! The kids were fighting for turns on this bad boy!
Boston opted to ride with Trevor on the horse rather than riding alone and having the horse guided.
Taylor wanted to ride on her own and was loving it...she's convinced that we should buy a horse of our very own.
I feel grateful to be able to work with amazing women and have such good relationships with each of them. When I was put in as secretary 18 months ago, I had a hard time adjusting. There are those that love the calling, but I secretly longed to be sitting in classes learning rather than in the halls most of church. As our ward is growing rapidly each week, I'm grateful that I get a chance to meet all the new families with primary kids which I wouldn't be able to do as well if it weren't for the calling. We have come a long way as a presidency, working through some kinks, but I've grown to love being involved in such an amazing group. It was a fabulous evening spent visiting, laughing, and enjoying great company.

Also, Everything with Maddox will work out! You are a strong woman and a great mom to your kids and you are doing everything right! Whatever happens, he is such a blessing and your strength is an inspiration to me! Your family and little Maddox is in our prayers ♥
