Maddox @ 20 months

 It's hard for me to believe how fast this little boy is growing up. He's going to be 2 soon and I still think of him as my baby...and probably always will until someone else comes along and steals the title.  He L.O.V.E.S to be outside, and that's probably an understatement.  He brings me his shoes or my shoes numerous times a day begging to go play outside. He's really started to love riding his bike and if I'm not keeping a close eye on him, he's cruising down the middle of the street as fast as he can!  He gets possessive anytime his brother or sister try to get on and ride it and literally tries to push them off!  He's still a daddy's boy through and through.  It's really the cutest thing and I love the bond they share.He's an all around great eater, there isn't too much this kid won't each which is nice for this momma!

Maddox is also very much an observer. He checks people out for a good while before making any type of facial expression...already a people watcher:)  He's extremely laid back and easy going especially compared to my other 2, but along with this comes some slight set backs.  Maddox is not a talker...still.  Really, he says maybe 2 or 3 words at most. Some days I wonder at what point I start to worry about it or if I even should.  He communicates very well in other ways and I can always figure out what he needs and its just not through talking. Curtis thinks he's lazy, I think he just doesn't care!  He doesn't watch T.V either.   My other 2 would sit and watch parts of a movie for extended periods of time, but this kid could care less whats on that screen.  He's usually too busy trying to escape to the outside world. He still loves his binki and his bottle at night which I'm totally ok with...shh, don't tell the docs!  I want to keep him from growing up because it makes me so sad:(  We sure do love this little bub and all the joy and laughter he brings to our family!
