A couple weeks ago, we got invited to go to one of the newer fire stations here with our friends! My kids were really excited to go especially Boston who had never been before. The kids got a chance to climb around inside the fire truck and even got to see into a brand new truck that hadn't been loaded up with all the gear yet!
The firefighters got out the hose and let the kids take turn spraying...which turned into spraying each other and the firehouse and the rocks, etc.! But boy did they love it! Maddox preferred to hang out with the giant hoses that weren't hooked up rather than the one shooting gallons of water.
One of the kids honked the horn while Maddox was climbing in and after that he wanted nothing to do with getting inside! He was a little unsure from that point on about what was going to happen.
This is where he hung out while the kids were spraying the hose...safely behind this pillar. My baby's blues are now officially hazel/green....sad day for his momma! But his dad is pretty excited about it:)
Playing in the puddles on the way back to the car...I think this was the highlight of his day!
It was a fun trip and I'm sure those firemen were happy we brought a little excitement to their day!
