Family Time

I realize I'm WAY behind on blogging...it's not so much that I've been too busy, but just lacked the motivation to get it done.  So in an attempt to get caught up quickly, I'm just compiling multiple events into one big post to get on the the more important things in life;)  We've tried to focus on spending quality time together lately. With Curtis' current work schedule, it seems as though we are either coming or going and rarely all together at the same time.  Dinner time is crazy around here. Curtis is usually running late, or I'm heading out the door to the gym as he's getting home or heading to work with dinner still in the oven.  One night, we had no where to be and were just enjoying being together and being silly!
A few weeks back, we took the kids to one of the duck ponds and let them go crazy feeding them some stale bread we had.  Boston was usually in such a hurry to throw it before they got to him that he was chucking huge chunks making it slightly difficult for the ducks to consume! Maddox was just fascinated by the whole experience and was our silent observer as usual.
Curtis has several vouchers to Fiesta Fun and so we decided to take the kids for FHE one week and let them go crazy playing all the games.  They had a blast trying to see who could get the most tickets and there was no one there so we had the place to ourselves!
The boys and I have a lot of time on our hands while Taylor is gone to school and Boston loves finding the camera and making us take pictures together!
These two sure love each other, unless Boston is pestering Maddox or Maddox is trying to take Boston's snack or cars;)  I love seeing them interact more and more as Maddox gets older, and it gives me great hope that they will be the best of friends.
I'm so grateful for my little family and the joy they bring into my life.  Life has its stresses and challenges these days, but I'm so grateful for my kids and wonderful husband and the daily reminder at how truly blessed I am:)
