Maddox @ 6 Months

I can hardly believe my baby is already half a year old. I wishing I could just freeze time and enjoy him more when he's little at this age. He had his check-up on Monday and now was just over 17 lbs and is 26.7 inches long. He actually dropped down to 40% for weight but his head managed to jump from 40 to 75%! The doc was a little surprised and checked it again but I told her his brother has a big head and that it runs in the family!! He got his shots which normally he does really well with but this time it really took it out of him. He was not feeling good that day and was up all night for the past 2 nights with a bad tummy:( It is so hard to see the little guy hurting and crying because he rarely does it. A few more things about him at 6 months: *Eats cereal and fruit twice a day

*Has tried peas but prefers squash

*Knows how to roll over both ways but has only done it a handful of times. He's content just lying or the ground or playing in his saucer.

*Knows how to sit up and is so happy to be able to play with his toy basket from that angle!

*Is definitely a momma's boy....and he should be:)

*Smiles at anyone who will pay attention to him and even smiles at people when they aren't paying attention.

*Loves to be outside.

*Still doesnt sleep through the night, but takes good naps during the day so I don't complain...too much.

*Likes his binki but mostly just when he's tired and wants to go to sleep....I couldn't resist a binki face:)
This little boy has brought so much joy to our lives. He's been a wonderful baby and we all love him to pieces.
