Washington Rec Center

Last week, some friends in our neighborhood decided we needed to get out and do one last fun "summer" activity before the weather changes...and hopefully it does soon! We decided to go hit up the indoor pool at the rec center. My kids love it because its shallow enough to swim and play without floaties and has a water slide and play area thats just their size. This time Taylor decided she wanted to go on the big Hydotube slide and she loved it! I have to admit that I quite enjoyed it myself! The water was a tad chilly if you weren't all the way in. I told Taylor and her friend Kylie to smile for a picture, but as you can see, I think they were shivering more than smiling! These two have really become the best of friends over the summer. They play the best when it's just the two of them and they always have a good time.
This is how Maddox enjoyed the time...hanging out in his carseat! Don't worry, we eventually took him out and he loved watching the kids play and enjoying some fresh air.
We have been so lucky to live in such a great neighborhood. I love that my kids have close friends to play with and that we can all get together and have a blast, even if its just visiting outside way past dark while the kids play!

I like your new background and your collage. I am glad Boston has a good little friend. He has dealt with all the girls for long enough! I wish I could have stuck around while everyone was there and really, they need to do something about that freezing cold water. We pay enough to get in. They could make the water a little warmer!!:)
