Maddox has gained over 5 lbs in his short 2 months of life. He started out as my smallest baby and is currently my biggest...my other 2 were barely 11 lbs at 2 months! He has his check-up today and was all smiles for the doctor. His only problem.....7 days with no poop. The doctor told me to get some suppositories for him and that those should do the trick. We tried one when we got home and it went everywhere! It took some major clean up and a bath, but I bet he sure felt good afterwards. He also got his shots today and stopped crying after they finished poking him. He did give the nurse quite the pouty bottom lip, but he's one tough little guy! He's so alert now and has found his voice, which sounds like a baby bird most times. He loves to be snuggled when he's tired and gets swaddled at night for bed. He's finally discovered a binki he likes, which makes mom happy. He sleeps anywhere from 5-7 hours at night, eats, then goes back to sleep for a few more, which also makes mom happy! He's such a sweet little boy and I couldn't love him more. It makes me so sad at how fast he's growing up and how big he's getting. I really just want to freeze time and enjoy this baby stage before its gone. I finally got a shot of his big smile, but it turned out a little blurry since he wiggles his whole body when he does it!! He definitely brings so much joy and happiness into our lives:)
