A boy and his bike...

A couple weeks ago, while Curtis was backing out of the driveway on his way back to work, he ran over Boston's bike. I knew the kid would be devastated. He loved that thing and was always cruising around the neighborhood trying to keep up with the big kids. After a day or so of watching him try to try a ride-on train, I felt bad that he couldn't keep up. We went to Wal-mart to try out a few big boy bikes and he was hooked instantly! He immediately asked if he could buy it and take it home! After only a few minutes of riding in the aisles, he was a pro. We hooked him up with a new helmet like his sisters for our rides to the park and home we went!>For days, he asked about his bike constantly. When he woke up, he asked where it was and if he could ride it. When we went to the store, he asked if his bike could come. When we got home and opened the garage, he was always asking about his bike and making sure it was still there! He loves that he can go "super fast" and keep up with the other kids. I'm sure he'll grow out of it in no time, he already looks too big for it! But he loves it and I love the fact he loves his independence. Can you tell how excited he is about it?!
It was also time for a haircut. This kid has hair that grows in every direction and sticks straight out a million different ways. Curtis took it upon himself to decide his new do, and I, of course, obliged. It was a little tricky getting straight lines since the kid was constantly moving, but he seems to think he's pretty cool!

He even got a couple compliments for the teenage boys at church on Sunday! His hair definitely says a lot about his personality...CRAZY!! We love this boy, even though most of the time he has way too much energy that we don't know what to do with!!

Boston is getting so big. The bike looks like a lot of fun. I wish Landon would figure his bike out as fast as Boston. You did amazing on the hair cut too. I would say that it is cute but that isn't the right word for that kind of haircut so I guess I will say that it fits him very well!

I think my boys had the exact bike!!! It's the BEST first bike! Kids are as adorable as ever and can't wait to see #3 make his debut this summer! I am hoping to bring the kids to St. George for Thanksgiving this year and meet baby. And we can do some new family pics! Miss you guys SO MUCH!! Hang in there with a summer pregnancy . . . did it with Emma and it was brutal! Always thinking about you!
