Birthday Fun and the Family Band...

Friday was Curtis official birthday, the Big 29!! We celebrated by making cards for him and picking up some balloons to take to his work. Taylor was so proud of the card she made where she wrote all the words by herself and drew a picture of her and her dad...I should have gotten a picture, but didn't so use your imagination! We played around at the hotel waiting for him to finish up some work, which the kids L.O.V.E!! They immediately run to the elevators and have a blast exploring and this time found them trying out the exercise room! Afterwards Taylor said..."Mom, I love exercising, I have so much energy now!" She always has too much energy:) We grabbed our favorite, In&Out, and headed to a park for lunch. The kids loved playing around and Curtis and I enjoyed the weather and quiet time;) Then it was off to home, for some much needed naps and the opening of present...yes that is singular! Curtis had already gotten 2 new pairs of shoes while in Vegas, so I decided to surprise him a new bike helmet. The weather has been so nice and his itch to go mountain biking has kicked in, so I decided it was time for one! His employees had a little party that evening for him and then we invited some neighbors over for another yummy Baskin Robbins cake!
Why is it so hard for this guy to take a normal picture?!!

Boston had to be apart of the blowing out of the candles...luckily, I didn't put 29 on or they would have needed an army to help!!While the adults were visiting, the kids ran wild playing like crazy. There was one moment when I noticed the girls were being especially quiet, but didn't think anything of it until Taylor came walking out with camera in hand! They apparently had their own photo shoot....
Saturday was spent sleeping in....really late!! We then took on the task of beginning the Spring cleaning process. Our first task was to conquer some of the closets and reorganize. We're trying to make room for baby #3 to share a room with Boston while decided whether to switch rooms with Taylor or keep them in the smaller room until 2 twin beds are needed. During the process, the kids found our racquetball rackets and they quickly became a hot item!! Boston called it a sword while Taylor decided it was more fun to play guitar...and so, of course, Boston agreed and they spent the afternoon singing a rockin rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle... I thought about capturing it on video, but before I got around to it, Boston reverted back to his old ways and turned his guitar into a sword...showing no mercy!! So, sadly, they were put away until we can stop smashing guitars over each other!
In other news; we, or rather I, have been frantically searching for a name for this baby. I'm starting now because I can already tell it will be a long process. We both agree on a few names we like, but nothing really set in stone that just jumps out to us. The list gets longer and then suddenly a new list is formed...there really is no rhyme or reason to our madness, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to offer them up!!!
