To My Mom By Taylor My mom's name is : Marissa She is {3} years old. (pretty accurate at times, I'm sure!) She has {black} eyes and {brown} hair. Her favorite food is {salad}. She is {sweet}. It makes my mom happy when I {play with her.} It makes my mom angry or sad when I {make messes}. My mom thinks I'm good at {drawing}. (Clearly, the picture speaks for itself!)When I'm with my mom I like to {shop}. When I grow up my mom wants me to be a {mom}. My mom makes me happy when she {plays with me all day}:)
And now for my favorite part.... I want to tell my mom {That I Love Her}.
When I hugged her and told her I loved it, she smiled and said, "I'm so Glad!" This girl is constantly keeping us on our toes, but always keeps us in line. While arguing over some spilt soda at lunch today, Taylor turned to Curtis and I and said, in her authoratative voice, "You guys need to be nice together, remember what I said." Indeed, we do need to be nice together, and the simple wisdom out of my 3 year old's mouth again made me grateful for my day job. Thank you, Taylor, for the love that I felt from a simple, homemade preschool book.

That is the best mothers day present! She is getting so smart.
What a sweet little girl!!! You are so blessed to have the blog so early in your children's lives to record all these wonderful memories. I wish I had been able to record everything when the boys were little. I love Taylor's reminder to you and curtis!!!
Nothing better than a homemade gift from a child. She looks so grown up!
so cute! i have to admit i got a little teary-eyed reading your last couple of posts. maybe it's the fact that allie is going to be 1 in a couple of days, and i'm realizing that i'm missing my "baby". thanks for all the reminders!
I can't wait for those homemade gifts! so cute!
