Staheli Family Farm

Monday night we took the kids to a local family farm complete with a pumpkin patch, tractor ride, petting zoo, and a corn slide! We made sure to get their early enough to avoid any major crowds and lines. We attempted the petting area first and this is how well that went over....

Boston was petrified of the animals up close and I thought he was about to jump out of his stroller when this sheep came up to him! Taylor wanted nothing to do with the stinky animals either and headed off to the corn slide...homemade slides into a pile of feed corn! She thought it was the coolest thing and it rocketed her right out:)

Next we took Taylor over to a kiddie train that was being pulled by a tractor. She assured me she wanted to do it all by herself, but I was a little worried since a teenager was driving! I got her to wave quickly before it left and then she held on for dear life!! After it was over she told me that it was not fun and that she wanted me to go with her:)

We headed out to the pumpkin patch, which ended up just being a group of pumpkins thrown on some hay...I guess that's what you get when you wait till the end of the season to go. Boston immediately set out to find the perfect one and Curtis insisted we get two, even though they were way over priced. He said it was all part of the experience-whatever:)

We had a lot of fun and are glad that the kids enjoyed themselves...minus the petting zoo and kiddie train:) One thing was for sure, I could not get anyone to the look at the camera for the life of me. Somebody was always starring off at something far more interesting than me holding a camera!

All I can say is that the expressions on those kids faces in both of these entries are priceless!!!!! I have never seen Boston with so much hair. Great family fun and good for you for the fun times together. Mom

Mom is right about the hair. When did he get all that! Looks like you had a grand time. Don't worry, Trenton is not a fan of petting zoos either. Miss ya tons!

I love Boston's shirt...Caleb has the same one! You gotta love the Children's Place. :) How funny that he was afraid of the animals. Both your kids are so cute!
