Last night, we carved the pumpkins that we picked out at the pumpkin patch. Curtis is out of town today and tomorrow, so last night was our only chance to get them done before Halloween arrived. Taylor was so excitd to make faces and it was all she talked about all day. She got ahold of the marker while Dad was sketching is plan and went to town on one of the pumpkins. She was so proud of her happy face...
Boston was definitely a little apprehensive about all the gooey stuff inside and wasn't about to touch any of it....he's a little weird about texture!
We went the old fashioned route and free-handed our pumpkins...I know, I know crazy in this day and age with so many patterns and pictures available. Curtis started out with a castle in mind, but I think it turned into more of a house looking building!! I got stuck with Taylor's permanent marker masterpiece and managed to do a fine looking jack-o-latern face(I know, its definitely amateur!)
You can all stop laughing now! We had a great time and enjoyed just hanging out together!

Looks like fun! My kids dig the animal farm, but when it comes to pumpkin guts Alex just became a fan this year but count Jake out!
