Just an update.....
Life has finally started to settle in a little bit after the big move and our vacation to Lake Powell. The kids are getting back to the routine.....for the most part anyway, and we are trying to adjust to the heat. It's not that its that hot, the problem is that it never really cools off so I feel like for late afternoon until bedtime, I am a walking sweat ball:) We have had some exciting things begin to happen lately. It was a long time coming, but the park is FINALLY finished! YEAH! We encountered new problems however, such as Taylor throwing huge fits when its time to leave and again throwing fits when she doesn't get her way when she wants to go. I've decided the best time to go is in the evening after dinner. The park is crawling with kids and Taylor gets worn out for bed.....sometimes too worn out. I also started potty training again...for the bizillionth time. This time seems to be going well. I make sure and take her potty every hour and before and after we leave the house. I think she's getting better at holding it and yesterday we had a huge accomplishment. Yesterday, while I was cooking dinner I noticed the kids had wondered into the master bath. I yelled for Taylor to get out and that she wasn't supposed to play in there and when she didn't listen I went to get her. I then realized she had gone in and went potty all by herself and was putting her pants back on!!!HOORAY:) I was thrilled and to top it off, she came out a couple minutes later and told me "mom, the stinkies are coming." We ran and put her on the potty and she indeed went #2~never thought I could be so excited. Since then she's had a couple accidents, mostly cuz shes too busy playing and she has gone again by herself......we are definitely making good progress this time. Boston also has exciting news. He is attempting to crawl......the right way. He gets up on all fours and goes a few inches and then its almost like he realizes he can get there faster dragging himself, but hey, its progress! He's getting a ton more teeth also, he's already up to 5 and Taylor hadn't even started teething when she was his age! I finally finished Taylor's letters for her room~I think they turned out cute, nice and simple just the way I like it. I'll have to post pictures of both both Taylor and Boston's room as soon as we get them up......who knows when that will be. I'm still looking for a good dresser for Boston's room but haven't had much luck.
I thought I'd post a recent picture of Boston being silly! Whenever I take the camera out and tell him to say cheese, he gives me this really funny grin.....almost like he's actually saying it!! What a funny boy!

The wall letters are very cute, good job! Boston is such a handsome little dude in the picture. So cute.
Sounds like a lot has been going on. I am jealous that you have a park right a cross the street from you. That would be so nice. Tay sounds just like Wyatt with the throwing fits when it is time to leave. In fact he did that just last night at Jer's ball game. Taylor's letters turned out way cute! I knew you could do it. See there really is no way to mess them up! It looks like potty training might work this time! Wyatt still has no desire. Looks like we probably won't be doing pre-school this year cause of it.
Your letters turned out way cute! I'm totally copying you and Ang and making some for Jack and Marley's room. SUper super cute! HOw are you guys doing? SOunds like Arizona is better thean New Mexica :) You'll have to let us know when your in Utah to visit, we could go to dinner!
