Last weekend, we got the chance to head to Utah for the annual Dyer Family Reunion. We haven't been able to make it the past couple years and when we found out it was in Lake Powell this year, we decided we couldn't pass up the opportunity. We left Thursday after work and headed to my brother's house. We got to go out to dinner for our Anniversary while they watched the kids!!!Thanks guys:) We left Friday morning and made the almost 8 hour trip to the lake. We stayed in a house boat and had a great time! Taylor loved being able to play in the water and especially loved riding in the boat. We even managed to get her on one of the tubes and she had a blast! Curtis and I took a shot at wakeboarding and am happy to report that I actually managed to get up! I forgot my camera most of the time, but there are pictures somewhere to prove it:) Lake Powell is absolutely beautiful and we got the chance to go see Rainbow bridge and hole in the rock(an amazing story about Mormon pioneers!) The kids did great the whole time, Taylor only having a few meltdowns and Boston just going with the flow as usual.
It was a great weekend full of family, fun and way too much food!! Thanks Dyer family for a great time.

I am so jealous you can wakeboard! I have tried so many times and I just cannot figure it out! (I know, spaz). Sounds like so much fun! I've never been to Lake Powell either...man, I haven't lived.
I'm so jealous because I've never been to Lake Powell. It looks beautiful! I'm glad you had fun. You have been quite the little traveler lately!
