Project: Wood Letters!
In an attempt to be somewhat crafty, I decided to decorate some wood letters for the kids' rooms. I got the idea from my friend, Angela, and she said it was almost impossible to mess up....my kind of craft:) I have been hesistant to start only because I stare at a project forever worried that when I finally start, I'll mess it up. I did Boston's first...for some reason I figured since he's a boy, he would mind if it was a little..hmmmm.....disasterous! Overall, I think I did pretty good considering I don't do these type of things to often. I mean, how hard is it to cut paper, glue it on the letter, and modpodge over it?! I thought I'd post some pictures of the finished project to see what you all thought. Next up...Taylor's name (unless you all tell me this is not my forte, and to stop now:)

Those look great! I will have to steal the idea later. You will have to post Taylors when you finish.

Marissa-
You did so awesome. See, they aren't too tough. Post Tay's name when you get hers done. By the way, how do you do the collage of pic's like you have on the post underneath, and on the right hand side of your blog?
It looks really cool! Nice job! I can't wait to see Taylors.
That is so cute! Looks like you're a pro! I just might have to try that out too. Cute!!
Those are adorable!!!! Send me an email with exact directions, if you can! And where did you buy the letters? Once I find out what this baby is, maybe we can give it a name!!
Mess up? What are you talking about? Those are so cute!! Paper is a good idea. I've been thinking of putting letters up in Kylee's room but my creativity didn't think beyond painting them.
I think those turned out great! Good job! Do you want to come decorate Hayley's room?
Marissa,
You did a great job. Maybe you can teach me how to do it this summer when I come to visit. What a great idea and it looks fabulous!
These are SO cute - and I think they definitely qualify you as a "crafty" person! I've tried mod-podge and it is a lot harder than I thought it would be. The letters on Caleb's wall are just plain painted, so these put mine to shame. Maybe I'll have to give them a little makeover! Thanks for sharing!
