This afternoon we decided to take a trip up one of the nearby canyons and do some exploring. It was so nice to be back in the mountains and have so much nature to explore, unlike Clovis which was nothing but flatness for miles! Taylor loved climbing trees and jumping on rocks, she's quite the nature buff much to her dad's delight! Boston tagged along as his usual laid back self, although if we plan on doing much more hiking, I think a carrier pack would be a smart investment....that kid weighs a ton! The view was fantastic and we are excited to have so much to do and places to see. The park is still not in working order, and Im not sure how much longer I can get away with telling her it's broken. I think we've already spent more time outside than we did while living in Clovis:) Here are just a few pictures of our Sunday afternoon outing.
