President Hinckley

Hearing of President Hinckley's death caught me by surprise, and I, like so many others had mixed emotions. I was truly saddened at the news and then quickly realized how happy I was to know that he was with his eternal companion once again. He touched so many lives, even those of whom he never met. I watched Glenn Beck this evening as he spoke of his feelings about the Prophet. He said that even though he never had the privilege of shaking his hand, he watched his example which impacted his life greatly. I know that Pres. Hinckley was a true man of God and was grateful for the love he had for all. He truly emulated the Savior in every aspect and I will miss him. But how great it is to know as members of this church that we to can be reunited with loved ones we have lost one day. I know that many will miss him, but he will be remembered for his love, humor, and sweet countenance. I have no doubt that he was greeted with open arms and that his mission in this life was fulfilled.
