Random Happenings

We are in full swing of a fall routine centered around school, homework, bedtimes, cooler weather and some fun where it can fit! Taylor is still loving school and is doing well. I started carpooling with a couple other neighbors which has made life so much easier! I got the chance to help out in her class recently and was impressed with what I saw. The teacher is a 1st year and at first I was worried, but she is great. If she is having a hard time, she hides it well!  Boston loves preschool and wishes he got to go everyday like his sister.  He has done well with having her gone all day, but makes up for lost time by pestering her twice as hard when she gets home!  Maddox is officially a walker! He L.O.V.E.S being outside more than anything, even if its just playing in the garage, he's a happy camper. If you leave a room and come back with shoes on, he knows you're going somewhere and begs to be picked up. His new thing is pointing. He points at everything and then jabbers on about things that appear very important. He also learned how to climb on this chair when the cushion is off and this was his attempt and getting off head first!
Taylor and Bos were being unusually quiet one morning while I was still in bed so I thought I'd better get up and see what they were up to...surprisingly they were just having a nice game of beauty salon and watching morning cartoons!
They really can be great friends when they want to be:)
I took the kids to the park over the holiday weekend while Curtis was working and the weather was not too hot! We hadn't been to the park in forever because it's just been too hot and so the kids were in heaven, especially Maddox who discovered a new found freedom in walking.
I can't believe how much these 3 have grown over the past summer.  Time really does fly by when you have kids and I still have a hard time believing I have one gone all day to school who needs a lunch packed! It was a nice day and we even hit another park after naps, but I forgot my camera:(
Curtis has been busy with work and his days off are often not consecutive so we feel like we don't see him much these days! We are all excited for fall and the kids are already talking deer hunt with their dad, and we have 2 birthdays coming up in a couple weeks.  We are doing our best to enjoy each day and trying our best not to take ourselves too seriously!
