3 months

On Thursday, Maddox will be 3 months old. I'm not sure where the time is going, but my little baby is growing up fast and it makes me sad:( He and I will be headed to to G&G's house in Cali for a few days while Dad takes the other two deer hunting. It will be his first airplane ride and I'm excited for some time alone with him especially since I feel like before I know it he'll be walking and talking. He still continues to be a good baby, very easy going. He still doesn't poop on his own and once a week he gets a nice suppository from me to help out! The doc says once he starts solids that problem should go away, but for now, it sure saves on diapers. He's so smiley, but yet, very alert and curious of his surroundings. I love his smile first thing in the morning when I get him out of his bed, its by far the biggest cheeser of the day and it melts my heart. I love when he's looking all around and catches your eye and just gives me one of those open mouthed side smiles...just like his daddy:) He sleeps pretty good as well, not through the night but around 4 he eats and goes back to bed until 8 so I can't complain. His brother and sisters still love him to pieces and are always trying to see who can make him smile! We are getting family pictures done in a couple weeks and I'm so excited to capture this point in his little life, because they change so fast! I feel so blessed to have this little guy in my life and to be able to be a mom not only to him but also his brother and sister. It's an often times thankless job that never receives vacation or sick leave, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
