Taylor's First Day

Yesterday Taylor had her first day of school. This is her second year at the same school, and although she really wished she was going to kindergarten this year, she was pretty excited for preschool. I attempted to get her to bed early but I made the mistake of telling her she had school so she didn't finally fall asleep until after 11 and then was up before 7! She picked out her outfit and even told me how she wanted her hair done. She was really excited the night before to get a Father's Blessing from Curtis to help her in her new school year. After she left, I went back to look at the pictures I took and couldn't believe how grown up she looked! I honestly don't know where the time has gone! She still has her fit throwing moments that are often way too over exaggerated, but we love her anyway! I'm really trying to instill the importance of being kind to everyone and making good choices at school and when Curtis or I aren't around. We talked in church on Sunday about raising our youth in this day and age and how scary the things they face are. I realized more than ever that now is the time to have her soak up as much info as she can to prepare her for the world out there! She loves learning and is constantly asking questions about everything and anything. We are so proud of her and love what a great big sister she is to her brothers.
She really wanted me to get a picture with her name tag necklace that she made all by herself. Seriously, when did she get so old!?
