Today Maddox is 4 weeks old and I'm really starting to notice how big he's getting and how much he is changing from day to day. He's starting to be awake more during the day and spends a lot of that time eating. He started out being a great nurser, but fights it a little more now so we supplement with a bottle or two each day after he nurses. He's not a huge fan of the binki although he likes the one from the hospital the best...ya, the big, ugly green one! I can get him to take the nuk ones everyone now and again and I'm hoping he'll grow into those as he gets older! He's up every 3-4 hours at night to eat, which I shouldn't complain about, but you really forget how exhausting night feedings can be! The kids still adore him, especially Taylor who asks to hold him at least 50 times a day. I have to be careful with her. Yesterday, I was across the street getting my hair done and Maddox was home sleeping in the swing. I told Taylor to go check on him and it was taking longer than normal. I went out to check and she had taken him out of the swing, carried him into the garage, lifted him in the stroller and then buckled him in!!! YIKES. I told her next time to just tell me he was crying and I would get him....she really is a mini mommy! I still don't dare venture out much with the 3 of them on my own just yet. For one, our car just got really tight in the backseat and getting them all in can be a chore.(Hopefully we will upgrade soon to something bigger). Taylor starts preschool in a couple weeks so I will use my time with her gone to venture out with only 2! Boston is pretty much potty trained finally! Pooping was a real chore for him, but slowly he'd starting asking to go in a pull-up and then we managed to get him to try out the toilet! I can't tell you how nice it is to be over that battle! We still need to remind him to go, because he doesn't like to stop if he's doing something fun! He still soaks him pull up at night and I fear he may sleep in one for quite awhile, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make! Here are a few pics of what we've been up to...which hasn't been much!
These 2 got ahold of my camera and decided to take pictures of each other...
I put Maddox on the floor to let the TV dazzle him and when I came back in these two had camped out right next to him.
I got to spend some quiet time at home alone with Maddox while Curtis took the other 2 up North for his brother's wedding. They had a blast playing with cousins and I enjoyed the quietness of the house. Here he is right after his bath and ready for bed...
I tried to get one without the binki in his mouth and this is what he thought about it...
He really is growing so fast!
I decided to do some comparison shots between the kids to see who Maddox looks like more. I've always thought he resembles Taylor more especially with his coloring and blue eyes but some have thought he looks more like Boston did.

What do you think?! We are enjoying life and slowing adjusting to being outnumbered as parents. I find that the hardest thing is getting in a shower before the day is already over. And by the end of the day I'm exhausted and I'm not even sure what it is I did!! But I love almost every minute of it!

That Maddox is a blender baby!!! Throw Taylor and Boston in the blender and Maddox is who you get! He is changing so much! What a cutie
I agree, he is mix of the two for sure. In these pictures he looks more like Boston to me. He brings the two together and now they all look like siblings
I rarely get on to check blogs anymore, so I'm not sure if I told you congrats. But, congrats!! We really are happy and excited for ya!! And he looks like Taylor when you have him next to Taylor, and he looks like Boston when he's next to Boston.
