Playing Catch Up

I knew it was time for another post when Curtis told me I needed to update the blog...that's when you know its been a long time! We've been trying to keep ourselves busy this month with projects and fun all while staying out of the miserable heat that has finally hit us. We went swimming with some friends over the 4th of July weekend and all the kids had a great time. Taylor and her friend Chloe had fun practicing their cannon balls...
Taylor even managed to get some good air on a few occasions... The kids love swimming and I love that it wears them out and I can stay cool too! I guess it's a good thing that both my kids are fish and enjoy being there with friends and the occasional pop-in from dad!

We kept our 4th of July pretty low key this year. It was far too hot for me to be out and about enjoying some of the local festivities so we just laid low until it was time for fireworks. We grabbed some yummy snow cones and found ourselves a nice spot with a good view. The kids were so excited to see them and could hardly wait until they started...
Lucky for us, they actually started almost right on time. Boston was in awe for the first part and then quickly grew bored and wanted to go home. Taylor thought they were so fun, and sat really well through all of them.
In other news, we have been putting together all last minute preparations in order to getting ready for out new little guy to arrive. If all goes to plan, I will be induced this Wednesday!! AHHH! It's so weird for me to think that we are about to have #3, I honestly feel like its been forever since we had a baby in the house. I feel like I have forgetten all that you need to have ready. I'm hoping this delivery goes better than my first 2, but only time will tell I guess. My epidural didn't work either time so I'm really crossing my fingers that the third time is a charm!! We can't wait to meet the little guy and hopefully my next post will be welcoming him into the world! Wish me luck!
