A Rare Occurrence

Boston has been having a rough time sleeping at night since we moved into our new home. We decided to put him in a big boy bed since he does look like he's 3 afterall. He does great for naps and we get him to sleep with little problems, but then 2 a.m. rolls around and the kid wanders into our room. Usually, we get him a drink and put him in our bed and within 5 min he's back asleep so I transfer him back to his bed. He usually finds his way back at some point and I wake up on the edge of the bed with 2 sprawled out boys! Needless to say, he's been pretty tired during the day. Yesterday, the kids were across the street playing and I went to get them and brought them home for lunch. I put on a show in the playroom while I made some lunch. I didn't get very far when Taylor came in to tell me Boston was asleep on the couch. I, of course, grabbed the camera and went and snapped a shot of the momentous occasion.... Poor kid was tuckered! I scooped him up and put him to bed without him even flinching. Hopefully, he learns to stay in bed a night and we all get a little sleep. I'm not crossing my fingers...he's always preferred my bed to his since he was born.

Awww! That looks just like a picture I have taken of Trenton. I had to let Trenton scream and cry in his room one night while holding his door closed (couldn't find the key). So sad listening to him screaming for me. Trenton has trouble going to bed but solved that problem in one night. Once he realized I was serious, he has been much better. Hope that Boston figures out how to stay in bed on his own and doesn't require drastic measures.
