4th of July Fun

We had a great holiday weekend this year. Looking back and previous years, we have been by ourselves for at least the last 3 years so we were so excited when my brother and his family decided to come to St. George to celebrate! Taylor loves when her cousins Alex and Jake come and they get to go swimming and run wild.
I first attempted to get a picture of all the kids...minus little Charlie, in their holiday grubs, but as you can tell, most were uncooperative! Girls are usually better at strikin' a pose, so we ended up getting this cute shot...We went to the park on Saturday morning where they had tons of booths, food and bounce houses set up for the kids to play in. They all decided to spend their one game on the bounce house and had a blast bouncing...or being bounced, all over the place!
Boston decided that it was more fun to jump once everyone was told their turn was up and it was time to get out....so we had to send in the reinforcements! Just outta reach!! Little stinker can be a fast one if you don't catch him on the first try. It gave us a good laugh, though!
After some much needed lunch and naps, we spent the rest of the evening swimming and bbq-ing. My kids love the pool and Taylor has really taken to being fearless when it comes to the water. I'm just glad they enjoy it, because it's sure getting hot here!
I also got to love on this little cutie girl! She is such a good baby and you couldn't help but love on her, even Curtis took his turn at holding her a few times! It gave me my baby fill for awhile:)
We ended the day going to watch the local fireworks. While we waited, the kids got to experience sparkelers for the first time! They were fascinated by them and even Boston loved holding them.
We had so much fun and it was a great break from our everyday "hotel life". Thanks for coming and spending the holiday with us, guys! I did attempt to get a family picture, but the kids were either uninterested for too busy focusing on other things.....oh well!
