A trip North

I'm getting really lazy these days when it comes to updating my blog, and I find myself posting things that are old news. Last weekend we made a trip North to visit since so many friends and family had just had babies! Curtis and the kids dropped me off in Fountain Green so I could see my old roomate/good friend that had just had her first little guy, Macray! He weighed the exact same as Boston did when he was born, 8lb 7 oz. Big when you think about a new baby, but small to me after carrying my moose around all day! It was fun to catch up with her and spend some time visiting without the interruption of my kiddos! Our other roomate, and my good friend, Judy met up with us and was nice enough to take me back up to Provo to meet Curt. We had dinner and had a great time reminiscing about old times and crazy things we used to do at college. I had a blast catching up and it felt good to laugh really hard:)
It was a much needed, and welcomed break from being mommy and thanks to my hubby for being so supportive and thanks to Judy for the good laughs. We also got to see our new niece, Makynlee, who was probably the best baby ever...she hardly made a peep the whole weekend. Taylor had fun playing with her cousins as usualy and through a monster fit when it was time to go home. We went up to our friends, Lindsay and Zach's, to see their new addition Laryssa. She was SO tiny! Its nice to see all our friends from school finally catching up with us and having babies! The picture with Curtis is a good example to just how little she is... We had a fun, but busy weekend visiting family and friends. We really love being in St. George and being back close to everyone. You'd think after all those babies that I would have gotten baby hungry...luckily my 3 year old threw plenty of fits to counteract any hunger that may have occurred! We are perfectly content with our brood right now and hope to train them well before adding another one:) A trip up north wouldn't have been complete without a trip to Taco Amigo. Never too young to start, right?! Reality is hard to get back to after so many friends and family and my kids decided to jump right in and get sick at the same time. We have rarely left the house this week, and I have officially run out of clean sweats to wear...sad, huh? Taylor gets sick and ends up being extra emotional while Boston is trying to cut 2 yr molars, while having a snotty nose, and goop of the eye. The kid is a constant faucet and yesterday I changed his shirt 3 times due to excessive wetness. Curtis has been extra busy at work...perfect timing, I know, but managed a trip to the dentist and orthodontist. Anyone have 4200 bucks they can spare so he can get braces....didn't think so. Did I mention I need a vacation?
