Boston loves going to the park as well and you'd think I'd spend most of my time chasing him around making sure he doesnt kill himself....not the case!
This is what he does while we are at the park....wanders around watching all the other kids play! He even got knocked in the head a couple times walking in front of the swings...but he just got right back up and continued to mosey on his way. He loves watching other kids and the park was pretty full that day so he hung out by me most of the time. It was almost hot at the park and I have the tan line on my arms to prove it!
We headed back to the park Thursday for our ward's playgroup and I got to know a couple of the girls that live over by us. Taylor found a friend in a little boy that was a couple years older than her...I went and told her she had to come back by me where I could see her (she was down at the vball pit in the sand) and she turned to her friend and said, "C'mon dude, lets go!" She is her father's daughter! Alexa's mom called while we were at the park and asked if I'd bring Taylor over to play and occupy Alexa while she got some things done. Taylor was so excited that 1. She didn't have to take a nap and 2. I wasn't staying but was coming back to get her later! She really does love being independent. Boston and I got to enjoy lunch with Curtis and I forgot how easy it was having only 1:)
Friday we went and met Taylor's new preschool teacher and got some last minute info from her. We are starting her this Wednesday and putting her in the 3 year old class for the rest of this year. I was nervous about what class to put her in next year since her bday is in October. She seems older than some kids her age and I didnt want her to be bored with the 3 year olds next year, but I wasnt sure if she was ready for the 4 year old class. The teacher was very accomodating and is letting me put her in the last couple months to decide where she should start in the fall. Taylor is so excited to go to school and I am really happy that I found a place I can trust. Her teacher has been teaching for over 25 years and had a lot of fun things for the kids.
Saturday we spent the day shoe shopping for Boston ( the kid has some thick feet!) and Taylor spent the afternoon outside with the neighborhood kids. One thing this week has taught me....Taylor must have a nap! Bedtime is a nightmare without one...she is so overly emotional and unreasonable that its a terrible battle. Curt's boss was in town last week and bought the kids a new movie...Madagascar 2. It has been playing nonstop at our house and I spotted the kids enjoying some pillow time on Sunday evening...(Boston's hand has become a frequent in his pants! Dad shrugs it off as a boy thing, and I yell at him to stop!) Taylor walks around singing, "I like to move it, move it" and I have a hippo in my head singing.."I like em big, I like em round, I like em chunky...."

I am so jealous that you are having good weather and get to play outside! The weather here is just teasing us as it does every March. Bridger and Boston would be such good friends! They are sooo alike, its like reading about my own son when I read your blog. Bridger is just a little younger so it is like reading the future, kinda crazy sometimes! Well me and Kyle are coming to St. George the first weekend in March and he said I wonder if Marissa and Curtis would like to do something...I said I wonder if they will think it is weird, (since we have technically never met although I feel like we have) Kyle thinks that we are very alike. Anyways sorry for the novel of a comment but our number is 801-631-7527 if you would like to get together. Oh and my email is ashliegiles35@hotmail if you'd like to be on our newly private blog.
