Chuckwalla Trail
One of Curt's New Year's resolutions was to spend more time outside as a family doing fun activities. So yesterday after church and nice long naps we went up to Chuckwalla trail for a little family hike. The kids love getting outside and Taylor practically runs the whole time. We borrowed a pack for Boston and he absolutely hates it...probably because he sees his sister roaming freely and wants to do the same. He only made it there for a few minutes before letting him out because we didn't want to disturb others trying to enjoy their time! This was a picture I took right after getting him out and as you can see he was still letting us know how upset he was about being put in there in the first place! The kids had a great time running, throwing rocks and sand and watching the rock climbers! We are so excited for Spring to come and are making it a goal to go and do all the fun things St. George has to offer! Poor Boston has been trying to cut his 4 "fang" teeth for the past month and they are kickin his trash! 2 of them have finally poked through, but the others are being stubborn. The kid has had almost 5-6 messy diapers a day with blisters on his bottom. He's glued to Curt at the hip when he is home and carries around as many binkis as possible. Hopefully in the next week or so, the other teeth will come through and give the little guy some relief!
Marissa, I am laughing as I write this because I read Lindsay's comment and I was gonna say, Love the dark socks, Curt. Reminds me of someone at my house!! Looks like you guys had fun and I hope Boston gets those teeth soon!!! Love, Mom
I believe that a man has the right to wear whatever he desires regardless of the matching attire or not! Have any of you women ever worn mens church socks? They are do die for! Why do you think that I went into the profession that I did? Hello!!!! -Curtis-
I object!! I do not wear my socks like that. I only wear them with pants. If I am going to wear shorts I put on ankle socks!!! However, curt your legs are super sexy!! I want to touch them!!
All the sock comments are making it a cheery day. Good choice of work for the sock reason you're awesome. Nice to be able to be out side in shorts and just jackets taking a Sunday stroll. We can only go ice climbing at my house and no one has the skills for that. Love you The move is about to take place right. No big deal though because you two are professionals. Maybe you chose the wrong career. Brindy
Curt, put on those church socks, your mountain bike shoes and ride the Chuckwalla trail. The first part is a bit sandy and hard to ride, but if you follow it up to the left along the ridgeline.... sweet ride with great views of St. George. You can follow it all along the ridge and then drop into that neighborhood and ride the road back to the trailhead... Enjoy... When's our trip to Gooseberry Mesa going to be?
