Playin' in the Rain

The other day, the kids were playing outside and it started to rain. Taylor ran back toward the house worried about getting wet, while Boston just sat in it wondering what was going on. The harder it rained the more excited he got, crawling back and forth on the patio and thinking it was funny when he slipped! Taylor decided to join in after seeing her brother enjoy it so much although she kept asking for a life jacket! Boston must have gotten his love of the rain from his mom....somedays I wish it would just rain all day:) Taylor playing it safe by the house!

In other news:
Taylor has basically given up naps! Well, I started not making her take one since she refused to go to bed at night and threw huge tantrums which ended up waking Boston. She just didnt seem to be tired and would come out a million times with different excuses. The last couple days, shes just had to stay in her room and watch a movie or play quietly and it seems to have helped. Last night she didnt come out once and was asleep by 8:30!!! I hate that she doesnt take them but figured I'm just not wearing her out enough at this point for her to need one!
Boston will be 1 in 9 days and has really started getting brave with walking. He walked from the couch to the T.V. all on his own, so maybe he'll be completely converted by his bday! Stay tuned for more.....
