Labor Day Weekend
We had a great holiday weekend and were sad to see it come to an end. Cameron and Mandy came for the long weekend and Taylor couldn't have been more excited to have her cousins Alex and Jake to play with. When they were here, I barely even noticed the kids around. The weather was great over the weekend, so the kids spent a lot of time outside riding bikes and Taylor even got in some swimming while they were here. We barbequed, of course, and just had fun hanging out together. We were sad to see them have to go home and Taylor decided today that Alex and Jake should just moved to their Grandma's house here in St. George. She loves having friends to play with and is already talking about all her friends coming to her house for her birthday.....sad thing is, she really doesn't have any friends here yet!!! I have got a lot of recruiting to do before her bday arrives:) And the highlight of the weekend for Curtis would probably have been the much anticipated, long awaited, most coveted, biggest desire of his life.........
Yep, it's true! He finally got his mountain bike and couldn't be more excited! Surprised? Yea, so was I! But the long hours searching on the internet and talking about it till he was blue in the face is over....now I just have to deal with him being gone for hours riding it hoping he doesn't kill himself in the process!

Hey!! That's awesome you live in St. George. We're actually in Washington, right off that new exit. Anyway, yes... let's get together for lunch. I'd love that. Ben starts work tomorrow so I'll have lots of time! :)
Wow Curtis! Nice ride! I want pictures of any cuts and bruises too, okay?!
That bike is awesome! Curtis is one lucky guy! My husband wishes he had a bike like that. I want some more pics of it...close ups and stuff. THAT BIKE IS RAD!
(was that good, Marissa?) ;0)
Ok Curt, Does this mean all the whining and complaining stops now that you have your bike!!! Love, Jane
Sweet Bike! Looks like fun!
Curtis..for the record, Corby seemed really excited for you when I told him you got your bike. Especially since he too just got himself a mountain bike. You're in a great area for that type of toy!
Curt, Now that you have seen the bad side of me, just want you to know that I cant think of anyone that deserves a great bike like that more than YOU! Glad that things worked out so you could make it happen. Love, Me Again, Jane
Curt,
Where's the Specialized Bike? i thought I brought you up in the tradition... glad to see you finally got around to taking the plunge and purchasing that bike. Bear Claw Poppy Trail-- the boys and I love it-- try it out. Also, look up Gooseberry Mesa hit it in October for a great ride-- I'll live vicariously through your rides for the next few months.
Marissa- cute pictures of the kids. Glad you guys are enjoying St. George. Love Adam
