On Friday night, Curtis and I actually got to go out for a couple hours without the kids. A friend from the ward offered to take them anytime so we jumped all over the offer. It was a good day to do it considering the day we had both had. Curtis had issue after issue at work, with one of his best giving his 2 week notice and I started the day out terrible with a 3 hour doctor visit for Boston! I know, my appointment was at 10:15 and I was in the waiting room until 12 and didn't leave the office until 1. I hope thats the last time we have to go while we live here. By the evening we were both ready for a night out and Taylor was excited to play with some kids. She had a great time jumping on the trampoline while Boston was a little apprehensive as we left. We went to our favorite restaurant here in Clovis, Chilis (what can I say...we dont have much to choose from!) It was so nice to have a meal with conversation that wasnt interrupted by us saying, "Taylor sit down", or "Taylor eat your food!" Afterwards, we picked up some ice cream and rented a movie. By this point we decided to just go get the kids, we had basically done the fun stuff here! When we got there, Boston was beside himself screaming and had tears running down his face. It was so sad. They said he did fine until the last 10 minutes or so. I guess it had been a rough day for him too since he had shots and he just wanted to be home in his bed! It was a nice evening and I really wish we could make a habit out of it.

Yes, absolutely make a habit of it. I know that when Brent and I have a date night out, we are better parents and spouses. So glad that at least there is a Chili's in Clovis. Any mexican? Love you lots. Have a great weekend!
Hi Marissa, I'm glad you said hi, I do remember you and your cute little family. Wow your little girl has grown up so much! Your kids are so cute! Anyway, hope all is going well for you!
Hi Marissa! It was a surprise to hear from you. Congrats on your 2nd baby. And Taylor has grown up so much! Both of your kids are so cute. Where are you living now? I looked through your blog but couldn't find out.
Wow lucky you guys! I can't remember the last time just Jer and I went out. You both look so cute in the picture too. I can't believe you have to wait that long to see the doctor! That's pretty bad! We definitely will post pics once Sydnee is here. I will have to tell Jer how to do it though, cause he doesn't know how.
