Joys of Motherhood...
Why is it that there are some things about motherhood that we both love and hate all at the same time? I love that my kids have personalities all there own and want to be independent at times, and yet I hate that I can't always control their every move and make them conform to what would make my life easier. There are things that your kids say that make you laugh and more often than not, they occur at an inappropriate time. Today during the Sacrament, Taylor took her own water out of the tray, drank it and put it in its designated hole. Because she was proud of her self and feeling a little encouraged by me praising her good deed, she exclaims, "Wahoo!" While it was cute and funny, it was a little embarrassing since she was the only one making noise at the time. I love that Taylor adores her brother and has started to play and interact with him more. I hate that she feels the need to sit on his head at times, wake him from his naps because she is bored, and attempt to roll him around the house. Taylor loves to draw and color and is very precise when it comes to coloring on paper, however, she recently discovered its equally as fun to color on the walls and windows. Lovely, I know. I love that Boston is growing and getting bigger each day, but I hate that the kid still refuses to sleep through the night and insists on eating far more often than I would like. I was so excited last week when Taylor woke up and went poop in the potty for the first time. That excitement fizzled quickly when the next morning she pooped in the bathtub! So much for progress in that area! I love the fact that Taylor can dress herself and likes to pick out her own clothes. I do not enjoy the couple of times last week that I put her down for a nap in one outfit and she woke up wearing another. I've decided that only motherhood can provide ultimate highs, devistating lows, and shear boredom all in one day!! All the reason to love being a mom even more.

way cute post Marissa. I can totally relate!Hey..about California, what's the story? Are you going?
We are going with him and we will be driving. My guess is we'll leave on Friday sometime so he doesn't have to travel on the day of their meetings. Let us know if there is something we can do to help! Hope to see you there!
