Life with Two

I have officially survived the first 2 weeks of life with 2 kids! Not that I didnt think I would, but it was a little intimidating. Boston has been a great baby so far, very laid back. I needed a mellow one to counteract my busy body of a daughter. Yesterday, we made our first attempt at a trip to Wal-mart, but only with Dad's help. Taylor seems to think she doesn't need to sit in the cart and constantly tries to climb out. I was hoping with Boston in the cart she would be more apt to sit still, but I was wrong. I think I'll wait a little while longer before I venture out on my own, at least until I learn to tame my 2 year old. My biggest struggle is keeping Taylor out of trouble while I'm nursing, which wouldn't be so difficult if Boston wasn't such a lazy eater. He was suck all day if I let him, but I hear that's typical of boys. Taylor seems to have learned that Mom is preoccupied most of the day and doesn't give me too much grief, but she is always ready for her dad to come home and wants his undivided attention until bedtime. Overall, life with 2 is going well. I notice more now how grown up Taylor seems and all the things she is learning. My day is successful if I manage to get both kids fed and dressed, myself dressed, and at least one load of laundry or the dishes done. That alone seems to take all day, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
